EMOTIONAL GROWTH & RESILIENCE THROUGH TRUST, EMPATHY & SAFETY

Together, we’ll explore how past experiences influence your present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, working to foster self-awareness and develop essential interpersonal skills for meaningful and lasting change.

WELCOME

I'M SOPHIE

I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, offering both individual and family therapy.

At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to the healing that happens within the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

MY APPROACH

I am a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.

Grounded in psychodynamic therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), my approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to help you deepen your understanding of yourself and make choices that align with your values and goals.

Together, we’ll explore how past experiences shape your present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, helping you gain insight into patterns that may no longer serve you. While fostering this self-awareness, I also provide practical tools to navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

MY SPECIALTIES

When supporting teens, I work collaboratively with parents to foster their teen's emotional well-being, strengthen family communication, and help navigate the challenges of adolescence with greater confidence and connection. For young adults navigating life transitions, academic or career pressures, anxiety, depression, or struggles with identity and relationships, I provide a supportive space to explore these challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to support you in creating meaningful change and finding a path forward that feels right for you.

MY CREDENTIALS

I earned my MS in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach and a BA in Psychology from University of Southern California. I have experience providing therapy in the outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization levels of care.

If you’re considering therapy and want to know if we’re the right fit, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Please feel free to reach out—I’d be honored to support you in reaching your goals.
